Description
The Warner Robins Air Logistics Center is hosting a combination Industry Day and Risk Assessment Workshop on 13 & 14 June 2007, to solicit feedback from interested industry representatives regarding an initiative by the 560th ACSG to acquire Information Technology services under a follow-on Intelligence, Information, Command and Control Equipment Enhancements (ICE2) contract. These services are described in the Performance Work Statement attached to the Sources Sought synopsis KB07ICE2MktRsh posted on 15 May 2007. Our acquisition strategy is still being developed and will be announced as soon as practicable. The ICE2 follow-on contract provides worldwide information technology (IT) sustainment, business process re-engineering, and technical support of equipment consisting of commercial, modified-commercial, and specially designed equipment items. The equipment supports worldwide intelligence and Command & Control operations. We welcome collaboration with industry to critically review our requirements and discuss mutual issues and concerns relative to our technical requirements and acquisition strategy approach. On the morning of the first day we will provide a program and acquisition strategy overview. Beginning that afternoon and continuing into the next morning we will schedule a Risk Assessment Workshop to identify and rank program risks. On the afternoon of the second day we will offer one-on-one sessions with each vendor interested in discussing specific issues and concerns relative to their company?s interests. Each vendor will be allowed 60 minutes of discussion time for the closed sessions depending upon the number of respondents. Sessions will be scheduled on a first come-first-served basis. If your company is interested in participating in the subject Industry Day, please contact Steven M. Esmond by email at steven.esmond@robins.af.mil or by phone at 478-926-8372. Please copy Cindy Scheidler by email at cynthia.scheidler@robins.af.mil on any correspondents. Detailed information on the Industry Day venue and associated information regarding base access, parking, and local area information or to schedule a one-on-one session with the government team will be provided to respondents. Due to the expected level of interest in the program, we are limiting company/team participation to just three (3) representatives each. Please respond by 04 June 2007. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (16-MAY-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
