Description
ITEMS REQUESTED WITH THIS SOLICITATION ARE UNIQUE TO THE MANUFACTURER. ITEMS MUST INTERFACE WITH EXISTING EQUIPMENT, AND ARE COMPONENTS OF A STANDARDIZED SYSTEM. NO SUBSTITUTIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. NASA/KSC has a requirement for the following: 1. Grass Valley GekoFlex Frame 2RU frame w/single PS, 10 8900B-R fans, Ethernet Network I/F. P/N: 8900FFN Qty. 10 2. Grass Valley Redundant 100W Power Supply ti GeckFlex frames (90-240VAC). P/N: 8900F-PSX Qty. 10 3. Grass Valley Stereo Analog Audio Distribution Amplifier w/Remote Control DA/Remote Gain/""-A"" 1 in 8 out. P/N: 8910ADA-SR Qty. 96. 4. GeckoFlex Rear Module for Balanced Audio/4BNC 10 3-pin connector Gecko Legacy modules. P/N: 8900A-R. Qty. 96 5.SNMP Monitoring Frame, 1 RU Rack Mount Modular Control Panel, Controls GeckoFlex & Kameleon Lines P/N: NEWT-RM Qty. 1 This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Delivery terms shall be FOB Destination. FOB Destination means the contractor shall pack and mark the shipment in conformance with carrier requirements, deliver the shipment in good order and condition to the point of delivery specified in the purchase order, be responsible for loss of and/or damage to the goods occurring before receipt and acceptance of the shipment by the consignee at the delivery point specified in the purchase order; and pay all charges to the specified point of delivery. Delivery shall be completed in accordance with the contractor's commercial schedule. The full text of the FAR provision or clause may be accessed electronically at www.acqnet.gov/far. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred) no later than 31 May, 2006. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any).
