- Description
- Install two Aquatic Organism Passage (AOP) structures on the Lewis and Clark National Forest. These structures are steel, multiplate, bottomless arch structures and will be located at the road crossings on Daniels Creek and Corral Creek. Work will entail removing existing cmp culverts, then excavation for the placement of pre-cast concrete footings which will support the multiplate strutures. Once the footings are in place, the stream bed between the footings will be constructed with native material to mimic the original stream bed. Large rocks for stream grade control will be machine placed inside the structures. The road bed at Corral Creek AOP will be raised approximately 18 inches with embankment and a 4 inch layer of compacted gravel will be placed on the road surface. The embankment and gravel for Corral Cr. will be Government furnished. Government estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Estimated start work date of August 1, 2007 with completion by September 1, 2008. Solicitation will be issued on or about June 15, 2007.
