Description: THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEM FOR MUIR CREEK PRECOMMERCIAL THINNING. SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED SIMULTANEOUSLY WITH THIS NOTICE. The project consists of precommercial tree thinning of approximately 700 acres on the Emmett Ranger District, Boise National Forest. The contract requires tree thinning from below with associated slash treatment and related work. The Contractor shall furnish labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals. Estimated start date is July 1, 2007 with completion by November 30, 2007. See numbered note #1.
