- This project consists of, but is not limited to, removing and disposing of wood shingles on the building, followed by the provision and installation of felt and an exposed fastner metal roof on the building. This project is located on the Prairie City Ranger District at the Crane Prairie Guard Station. The location of the project is approximately 30 miles southeast of Prairie City, OR along Forest Road 16. There are two buildings of approximately the same size. One of these buildings already has a metal roof on it and the other building (with wood shingles) is the one this project pertains to. This project is estimated at less than $25,000.
