Description
This is the public notice for acquisitions over $25,000. The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Aircraft Operations Center (AOC), located at MacDill AFB, FL intends to issue a fixed price contract for corrosion inspection and painting of a DHC-6-300 Twin Otter aircraft. The proposed acquisition is for services for which the Government is seeking interested contractors who can perform both Twin Otter aircraft corrosion inspection and painting. It is not in the Government?s best interest to procure these services separately. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit offers. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive responses. However, all responses received within ten days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Responses can be faxed to Ron Anielak at (816) 274-6951 or sent via email to Ronald.f.anielak@noaa.gov. A determination by the Government not to set aside the requirement for small business based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct an unrestricted competitive procurement. All responsible business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Interested firms shall include, in writing, the company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, and business size; a statement regarding their capabilities and qualifications to perform both Twin Otter aircraft corrosion inspection and painting; and sufficient information that describes or demonstrates the firm's knowledge of corrosion inspection and painting. Only affirmative responses to this notice will be evaluated to the extent necessary for the Government to determine whether it is feasible to issue a competitive small business set-aside acquisition. Submissions received in response to this notice shall be evaluated based on demonstrated technical ability to successfully provide the required service as stated herein. The applicable NAICS code is 488190. DOC, CRAD requires that all contractors doing business with this office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
