- Description
- The Billings Area Indian Health Service intends to negotiate and award a non-competitive contract to Big Horn County Ambulance Service, Hardin, Montana. The contract is for the provision of Advanced Life Support level of ground ambulance services for eligible Indian beneficiaries on the Crow Indian Reservation, Crow Agency, Montana. The contract action is authorized pursuant to the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, and 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. See government-wide numbered note 22. Big Horn County Ambulance Service has been the sole provider of these services for approximately 17 years. The period of performance shall be for one year with four 12-month options. The tentative issue date of the solicitation is June 4, 2007. The offer shall be submitted to the Billings Area Indian Health Service, 2900 Fourth Avenue North, Room 304, Billings, Montana 59101, no later than 2:00 p.m., on July 5, 2007. The offer must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to this office, showing the time specified for receipt, the solicitation number, and company name and address.
