- ID PFH 60-1(1) & ID NH-4110(136), SALMON RIVER ROAD & U.S. 95 TURNBAY, Nez Perce National Forest, Idaho County, Idaho THIS SOLICITATION IS BEING CONSIDERED FOR A TOTAL HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Prime Contractors who are HUBZone small businesses and who intend to submit an offer for this solicitation MUST submit their information by e-mail to contracts@mail.wfl.fhwa.dot.gov or by fax to 360.619.7932 for receipt by 5:00 pm local time on May 25, 2007. (NOTE: Should your HUBZone firm fail to respond by this deadline, you may still submit a bid/offer.) Your submission must include the following: (a) a positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this solicitation as a Prime Contractor; (b) your date of HUBZone small business certification; (c) a statement of your bonding capability, including both single and aggregate totals; and (d) a listing of your experience in work of similar type and scope, including contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and the names and phone numbers of points of contact for the contracting entity. This agency will NOT contact respondents for missing data, so it is imperative that you include sufficient detail on all of the above points. A decision on whether this project will be pursued as a HUBZone small business set-aside or on an unrestricted basis will be posted as a modification in FedBizOpps. THE PROJECT INCLUDES Construction Survey and Staking; Contractor Quality Control and Assurance; Contractor Sampling and Testing; Construction Schedules; 420m Silt fence; 180 ea Sandbags; 1000 m3 Watering for dust control; 1.3 ha Clearing and Grubbing; 3900 m3 Excavation and Embankment; 1200 m2 Geotextiles; 836 m3 Structure Excavation; 1028 m2 Roadway Obliteration; 1200 m3 Riprap; 310 m2 Gabions and Revet Mattresses; 6000 t Crushed aggregate; 3040 t Hot Asphalt concrete pavement; 9 t Asphalt tack coat; 461 m3 Structural concrete; 12,529 kg Reinforcing Steel; 114,780 kg Steel structures; 28,639 kg Epoxy coated reinforcing steel; 26 m of 600 mm Pipe; 7 ea Manholes; 970 m Curb and Gutter; 300 m Guardrail; 270 m Vinyl Fence; 6659 m2 Topsoil; 7 slry unit Seeding; 7 slry unit Mulching; 90 ea Plants, Trees, Shrubs, Vines and Groundcovers; 4 m2 Sign installation; 57 ea Delineators; 9000 m Permanent pavement markings;1000 hrs Flagger; 40 hrs Pilot car; 250 days Traffic Safety Supervisor and other smaller items of work. PROJECT IS LOCATED approximately 114 km Southeast of Lewiston, Idaho. Work shall be completed by May 15, 2008. Estimated PRICE RANGE is between $3,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. ATTENTION: The Department of Transportation?s (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers certified small and disadvantaged businesses working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts. Maximum line of credit is $750,000. The STLP loan has a variable rate, which is connected to the prime rate.
