- Description
- The United States Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Administration, has a requirement for a construction contract. DVA anticipates conducting a service-disabled veteran-owned small business set aside to award a fixed price contract. The work performed by the contractor shall include: 1. Removing (demolishing) an existing drywall partitions and metal studs as per the attached reference drawings. 2. Re-circuit light fixtures where rooms were demolished a. to open area light's circuit (junction box) b. move electrical and data wiring back to nearest junction box 3. Salvage (and return to Agency) the removed doors, frames, and door hardware. 4. Patch and repair walls (where walls will be removed). 5. Replace all damaged and marked ceiling tiles (where walls will be removed). 6. Paint all surface where walls will be removed and match entire Suite with existing paint (Benjamin Moore #960) 7. Patch floors (where walls will removed) with Government furnished carpet tiles (Contractor will provide adhesive) All work to be performed during non working hours, Monday through Friday 4:30 PM: - 6:00 AM and Saturday and Sunday. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220. With a Size standard is $31M. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be posted on the Internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov as soon as it is determined that there are enough sources from Telephone requests or inquires will not be taken.
