- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Transportation Agency wants to obtain a Dry Cleaning and Alteration contract with a dry cleaning company in the local Washington, DC area. The facility shall be within walking distan ce from the Transportation Agencys Office locate at 1222 22nd Street NW, Washington DC 20037 because the soldiers will be responsible for turning-in and picking up their clothing. The Soldiers shall be allow to turn-in their suits and white dress shirts on Tuesday and pickup their clothing on Thursday. The Dry Cleaning Company should expect to receive 60(+/-) white dress shirts, 20 (+/-) suit pants and between 10 to 15 suit jackets per week.
