Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quote is W9124B-07-T-0021 issued as request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acqui sition Circular 2005-16 dated 22 March 07. The associated NAICS code is 532490. Contractor shall provide the following specific tasks: ITEM DESCRIPTION AND QUANTITY FOR FIRM FIXED PRICE (FFP) CLIN0001: Rental of oil spreader truck with driver. Eight (8) hours minimum spread-freight-pump over. Required dates of rental are: May 25, May 28, May 29, May 30, May 31, June 1, June 2, June 4, June 5, and June 6. Contractor should be flexible to allow for adjustment of start time in the event of inclement weather, equipment malfunction or any circumstance that would delay project. Initial proje ct start time may be earlier or later if necessary; A copy of the work schedule and start times will be provided to the contractor representative driver before arrival at NTC Fort Irwin worksite on 25 May 2007. Delivery will be on-site at NTC Fort Irwin In stallation. Delivery Link-Up Point is Bldg 492 for driver to be escorted to the drop off work site location. Bldg 492 is located on 5th Street, Fort Irwin, California. Qty 10 days. CLIN0002: Equipment and Driver Layover for Duration of Rental Period. Qty: 10 days. CLIN0003: Prime Coat. Require 910 gallons of Prime Coat MC-70 to be delivered on 25 May 2007, start application time is 1:00 PM. Qty: 910 gallons. CLIN0004: SS1H Oil for Tack Coat, RC-250 or RC-800 Tack Coat. Require 350 gallons for post theatre p aving project scheduled 28 May thru 31 May 2007 and require 3,450 gallons for Hambee paving project scheduled 01 June 2007 thru 06 June 2007. Qty 3,800 gallons. CLIN0005: Freight Charges. Oil delivery and pick up charge. Qty 1 Each. CLIN0006: Storage Charg es. Semi-Tank oil storage charges. Qty 9 days.
