- The U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) located at 1425 Porter Street, Fort Detrick, Maryland has a requirement for Unarmed Security Monitors commercial services. This requirement includes a base period of twelve m onths with two one-year option years available. The start date is anticipated to be August 1, 2007. This requirement is a 100 percent Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561612, and the size standard of $17 Million. The solicitation is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about May 22, 2007 and will be posted on http://www.usamraa.army.mil. A site visit is planned for this requirement. The requirement will be conducted as Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-asides using FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
