Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting a requirement for CLIN 0001: (286) each of Thermal Batteries for the MK 54 Torpedo and CLIN 0002: Option for (400) each more Thermal Batteries for the MK 54 Torpedo. The solicitation number for this requirement when issued will be N00253-07-R-0024. Drawings Referenced in this Solicitation are restricted by the Arms Export Control Act and are ONLY available to vendor?s/contractor?s appointed data custodian that are registered with DLIS (Defense Logistics Info Svc Joint Certification Program (JCP). Vendors/Contractors that are not registered with DLIS JCP can obtain registration information at www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/ or by phone at 888 352-9333. Restricted Drawings and Technical Information are only available by accessing a secure website known as Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS). FedTeDS is designed to safeguard sensitive, but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information and is fully integrated with other electronic government initiatives such as NECO and the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. To obtain information from FedTeDS, vendor/contractor must be Central Contractor Registered (CCR), have a Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN) and be FedTeDS registered. Registration instructions can be found on the FedTeDS website, (https://www.fedteds.gov) by clicking on the "Register with FedTeDS" hyperlink then select the option ?Begin Vendor/Contractor Registration Process?. FOB Destination. Inspection and Acceptance at Source. Suppliers must be on an approved supplier list prior to award. (see Note 23 for further information). This solicitation will be procured under full and open competition in accordance with FAR Part 15. Award will be based on best value. Best value is determined b y the tradeoff of price and other factors as set forth in the solicitation. The procurement is unrestricted. Large businesses are required to submit a Small Busi ness Subcontracting Plan with their offers. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 335911 with a size standard of 500 employees. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued 05 June 2007. The closing date of the solicitation will be 06 July 2007, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. When issued, the RFP will be posed on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading the Request for Proposal (RFP) from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFP/amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same. The offeror must have a current registration in the DoD Ce ntral Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov).
