Description
The purposes of this modification are to provide answers to questions and to claify the Specification for Mobile Trailer/Towers to COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION N00244-07-T-0492 as follows: Q1. What is the wind speed that the units will have to be able to handle? A2. The towers need to handle gusts up to 70 mph fully extended. Q2. What is the sail area or square footage of the antenna(s) being used on each tower? A2. Tower #1 (smaller one): 3.2 sq. ft. and Tower #2 (taller one): 2.8 sq. ft. Q3. What is the application for use of the trailer. A3. The application for the trailers is for a mobile Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) cellular phone system. Q4. What kind of equipment will be used on the trailer. A4. The shelter for each trailer will house a GSM Base Transceiver Station (BTS) and a back link microwave radio. Four sector antennas will be mounted on the taller tower and a microwave dish will be mounted on the shorter tower. One of the two trailers will additionally house a spectrum measurement system consisting of a vector signal analyzer and a 1U rack mount PC and 1U monitor. The taller tower for the trailer with the spectrum measurement system will include 2 additional discone antennas. The Specification for Mobile Trailer/Towers, is revised in part as follows: 1.1.1 TOWER No. ONE REQUIREMENTS, revised in part: A rotating base that allows the tower to rotate. Once the trailer is parked and anchored and the tower is pivoted up, the tower must rotate in order to accommodate a beam antenna. 1.2 EACH MOBIL TOWER TRAILER SHALL CONSIST OF THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT AND CAPABILITIES: DELETE: Seven (7) leveling jacks, with pull out stabilizer supports SUBSTITUTE: Four (4) leveling jacks and a tongue jack 1.3 EACH MOBILE TOWER TRAILER SHALL HAVE A SHELTER MOUNTED ON THE TRAILER SATISFYING THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: DELETE: Shelter Dimensions: Not to exceed (36" D X 60" W X 48" H) SUBSTITUTE with: Air Conditioned Radio Cabinet Dimensions: Not to exceed (36" D X 60" W X 48" H) 1.4 EACH MOBILE TOWER TRAILER SHALL HAVE A GENERATOR AND FUEL TANK MOUNTED ON THE TRAILER SATISFYING THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS". Minimum requirement is a 6.5 kW generator All other terms remain unchanged.
