- THIS SOLICITATION NOTICE IS AN UPDATE OF PREVIOUSLY RUN SOLICITATION NOTICE #6MS0001 POSTED ON 4/21/2006, NOTICE #6MS0001-A POSTED ON 4/24/2006, AND NOTICE 6MS0001-B POSTED ON 7/31/2006. THIS SOLICITATION NOTICE MODIFIES THE LEASE TERM AND REQUIRED SQUARE FOOTAGE. REQUIREMENT: The General Services Administration seeks to lease space consisting of approximately 2,705 rentable square feet yielding 2,352 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet of office and related space. Space shall be contiguous, second floor or higher. New construction must provide a 10 foot stand off distance shall be provided from defended perimeter to the facade of the building to house the Agency. For proposals of space in existing buildings, a 10 foot standoff distance shall be provided from the curb line, or nearest point accessible by a vehicle, to the facade of the building which houses tenant. Space must be located in a prime commercial office district with attractive, prestigious surroundings with a prevalence of modern design and/or tasteful rehabilitation in modern use. Subleases are not acceptable. DELINEATED AREA: Space must be located within the following boundaries: Within the city limits of Columbus or Starkville, Mississippi. REQUIRED: On-site parking for (4) four government vehicles is required with ability to provide additional 2 parking spaces over the lease term. Facilities that provide underground parking should have access controlled parking restricted to building tenants only. Open/General Public Parking below a facility proposed for Agency will not be considered. Public transportation is required within three blocks of the building. All services, supplies, utilities and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Security, Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. LEASE TERM: Term is for fifteen (15)years/ ten (10)years firm. Proposed occupancy date is April 1, 2008. FEMA map showing the property location in relation to Flood and Earthquake zones. 6. Evidence of control of the property being submitted. In all correspondence include the following: 1) Name, address and telephone number of the individual offering and to be contacted; 2) Any information regarding influences unique to the site or building that may affect the occupancy; and 3) Incentives and inducements such as tenant improvement allowances, lessor provided enhancements, etc. Interested parties may submit pertinent information by Friday May 25, 2007.
