- The purpose of this amendment is to modified Pre-solicitation Notice posted on May 14, 2007 as follows: The U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) located at 1425 Porter Street, Fort Detrick, Maryland has a requirement for Armed Guard Security commercial services. This requirement includes a base period of twelve months with two one-year option years available. The start date is anticipated to be August 1, 2007. The solicitation is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about May 22, 2007 and will be posted on http://www.usamraa.army.mil. A site visit is planned for this requirement. Information on the site visit referencing date, time, and point of contact will be included the solicitation. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (16-MAY-2007). IT ACTUALLY APPEARED OR REAPPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 17-MAY-2007.
