- THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS The 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for the Ambient Atmospheric Analyzer (AAA) Follow-On to FA2521-05-C-0015, BAA 02-01. This requirement is to develop, design, integrate, test and evaluate, produce and prepare associated documentation, fabricate and deliver four (4) AAA Systems for Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E). This is a 24-month Research and Development (R&D) effort with a period of performance from 8 Oct 2007 to 7 Oct 2009. This is a sole source with Yocke and Company IAW FAR 6.302-1 and pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other suppliers will satisfy agency requirements. Yocke and Company is the only source capable of fulfilling the government's requirement because the AAA prototype developed under BAA 02-01 represents a significant advance in miniaturization of an air quality station providing timely and more accurate weather and atmospheric collection to support the Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC) mission. No solicitation documents exist at this time. The item/service utilizes Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 8733 with a business size of $6.5M and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 541620. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. This requirement is for the Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC). The 45th Contracting Squadron has determined that Yocke and Company is the only source capable of providing this requirement. Phone calls will not be accepted.
