Description
THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE PROCURED USING FAR 13.5 - TEST PROGRAM FOR COMMERICAL ACQUISITIONS. QUOTATIONS WITH TECHNICAL PROPOSAL IS REQUESTED BY E-MAIL BY JUNE 4, 2007 TO Monica.Roberts@dla.mil. Request for Quotation SPM1C1-06-R-0100 will NOT be available through www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. The Commercial Item Description A-A-55308 dated May 13, 1997 is available at http://assist.daps.dla.mil/online/start/. RFP will be a Total Small Business Set-Aside, therefore only small businesses may quote. Quotations must include a technical proposal for Past Performance for the past 2 years of commercial and Government contracts. Questions may be directed to Monica Roberts at 215-737-8705 or e-mail to Monica.Roberts@dla.mil. A response date of June 4, 2007 is established for the closing of this RFQ. Note 26 applies. RFQ is for the purchase of 100,000 yards of Cloth, laminated, Type II, Class 2, Form 1, 54" Width, Blue Color Fed Std 595, color chip 25102, both sides, 9 oz min/11 oz max weight, fire resistant, weather resistant and waterproof. NSN 8305-00-351-8345. Offers are to be based on FOB Destination Albany, GA. Production Leadtime is 120 days after date of award for three deliveries of 34,000 yards, 33,000 yards and 33,000 yards. Important Note on Foreign Content The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as ?The Berry Amendment?) impose restrictions on the DoD?s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
