Description
The U.S. Department of Energy, Idaho Operations Office (DOE-ID) is requesting quotes from small business entities interested in providing support in overseeing CH2M?WG, LLC (CWI) and Washington Group International construction and procurement quality assurance activities for the Sodium Bearing Waste (SBW) Treatment Project, also known as the Integrated Waste Treatment Unit. It is expected that these oversight activities will not exceed 350 hours during the period of performance which will be from the date of award through September 30, 2007. Offerors quotes must include fully-loaded labor hour rates. Also, as part of the quote, resume(s) shall be provided of the proposed individuals who will be performing the QA oversight. The individuals must have an extensive background (> 10 years) in the field of Quality Assurance (QA) and/or Quality Assurance oversight including NQA-1 2000 experience. The resume, at a minimum, must demonstrate NQA-1 2000 experience and knowledge in performing QA oversight in field construction and procurement activities as described in the attached DraftAward.pdf document. Include specific DOE/Nuclear industry project participation. Resume(s) shall not exceed 5 pages in length. Individuals must also be able to obtain, at a minimum, a Building Access Only (BAO) badge. This requires that any proposed individuals be United States citizens. Within one week after award, a Worker Safety and Health Program will be provided that describes methods which will be used to implement the requirements of 10 CFR 851 Subpart C and Appendix A for this award. DOE approval of this plan will be required prior to commencement of work at the site location. Quotes are to be emailed to Janet Surrusco at surrusjk@id.doe.gov by no later than 3:00 p.m. MDT on June 5, 2007, and will include the offerors tax identification number (TINS); and Dunn & Bradstreet number (DUNS). The selected awardee must be registered at the Central Contractor Registration database at www.ccr.gov prior to award. The NAICS code for this RFQ is 541990.
