- The Government is seeking professional design services from an architect-engineering (A/E) firm to provide all required labor, material and equipment to develop construction documents to include contract drawings, specifications, site investigations for the development of contract documents construction period services and site visits at the Jack C Montgomery VA Medical Center, 1011 Honor Heights Drive, Muskogee, OK 74401. Project consists of renovating 2,067 sq ft of space on the 2nd floor Building #1, B Wing. Renovation will require upgrades to electrical systems, HVAC and Fire Protection System as well as architectural changes to accommodate replacement of the Nuclear Medicine Cameras. A/E shall develop all demolition, architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical and fire protection drawings and specifications for these disciplines and detailed construction cost estimate as required. A/E firm shall comply with NFPA, NEC and Life Safety Codes, VA Design Criteria, construction standards and other required documents for the development of these documents. All designs shall be accomplished in accordance with VA guidelines and specifications, which are available on the Internet at http://www.va.gov/facmgt/standard. A/E shall field verify every aspect that relates to the project, coordinate visits with the Project Manager. A/E must be proficient in the use of Auto Cad 2000 and have access to Microsoft Word 5.0 or higher. Estimated time to complete this design is 210 calendar days. Estimated cost of construction is $900,000.00. Area of consideration is restricted to within one hundred and fifty (150) miles of the Jack C Montgomery VA Medical Center, 1011 Honor Heights Drive, Muskogee, OK 74401. Those interested firms, that meet the small business size standard, within the area of consideration shall submit three (3) copies of their current SF 330 to the attention of Jeff Farley, Contracting Officer (90c), Jack C Montgomery VA Medical Center, 1011 Honor Heights Drive, Muskogee, OK 74401. The NAICS code is 541310 with the small business size standard of $4.5 million. Due date for SF 330's is June 22, 2007 at 2:00pm. This is not a request for proposal.
