The estimated magnitude of this project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The project is categorized under FSC Z29 9 and NAICS Code 237990. The size standard for this code is $31,000,000. This Acquisition is proceeding as an unrestricted Invitation for Bids (IFB) to be issued on or about 12 June 2007 with any r esultant award being a Firm-Fixed Price construction contract. . JOB DESCRIPTION: American River Watershed Common Features, Left Bank Lower American River levee raise and install drain closure. Currently the levee is not in the federal system. The goal is to be able to certify this levee to FEMA standards and make it p art of the federal system. A slurry wall will be placed to depth range of about 45 to 75 feet and will extend for nearly the full length of the project and across the drain closure structure. The levee will be raised 2.5 3 feet. The closure structure will consist of four 8x10 box culverts with sluice gates and flap gates. Plans and specifications will not be provided in hard paper copy. The IFB, Amendments and all related documents will be posted on a secure Government website known as FedTeDS. Access to the solicitation documents on the FedTeDS website will be via a hyperlink. The hyperlink will be inserted into the notices for this acquisition posted on both the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/) and the F edBizOpps (FBO) website (www.fbo.gov) once the solicitation is issued. The hyper link will be imbedded in text and will not appear as a website address; in FedBizOpps, you will first click on the blue link titled, 'Technical Data Package (TDP) 01'; once yo u click this link, the next web-page will contain another blue link titled, ' Available online via the FedTeDS (Federal Technical Data Solution) website' (this link will take you directly to the FedTeDS log-in).
