- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; propo sals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Document # W81K00-07-BLMIX-4201 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acq uisition Circular 2005-16. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small business under NAICS code 423450 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The requirements in this solicitation are: CLIN 0001, 18 each Blood Collection Mixer, MFG: Ge nesis, MFG Part #: CM-735A, CAT #: 425-CM735A. Includes shipping and standard commercial 1-year warranty. CLIN 0002, 2 each Rapid Seal, MFG: Genesis, MFG Part #: SE-700RS, CAT # 428-SE700RS. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal applies to this acquisition. CLIN 0001 salient characteristics are: Contimuous rocking action mixes blood with anticoagulant; automatically tares collection bag weight; enhanced digital display; collected volume in mls with weight in grams; effe ctive for use in collecting cord blood; reduces over and under bleeds (QNS units); automatically clamps tubing when blood reaches pre-set volume; approved by UL/CSA; battery or A/C powered (included); individual charger included; transportation case includ ed; external dimensions: 11.5 L x 8.0 W x 5.5 H; collection volume: 5-995 ml; weight display 0-999 grams; elapsed time display: 0-19 minutes 59 seconds; target volume range: 0-995 ml, default value 450 ml or 500 ml, 5 ml increments; weight calibration tole rance: +/- 1 gram; weight accuracy: 0 grams to +3 grams; time display accuracy: 1 second maximum; LCD custom designed display power requirements: 110-120 VAC / 220-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz. CLIN 0002 salient characteristics are: seals in 0.8 to 1.2 seconds; 6 s tandard cable/optional 8 cable; lightweight canvas carry bag included; 3 hour fast charge battery and charger included; no warm up required. Vendors shall comply with FAR 52.211-6 if submitting other than the Brand Name product.
