- This is a combined Sources Sought Notice and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) Synopsis. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This notice should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice is in support of a market survey being conducted by the United States Navy to determine the potential sources capable of fulfilling a Radar requirement for the Vertical Takeoff Unmanned Air Vehicle (VTUAV). In addition, it is requested that each interested source provide this office with an estimate ROM of their perceived overall cost of this requirement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to this notice. Interested offerors may provide their facsimile number to request a copy of the Statement of Objectives (SOO) for the VTUAV Radar System and direct any questions to this announcement to Diana Harritt, Contract Specialist, via email at Diana.Harritt@navy.mil. The Government requests interested offerors submit one (1) copy of their capability response and ROM no later than 4:00 PM, Eastern Daylight Time on 21 August 2007 to the following address: Naval Air Systems Command, 47123 Buse Road, Bldg. 2272, Room 256, Attn: Diana Harritt, Patuxent River, MD 20670.
