Description
The Government intends to issue a Sole Source contract, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 to ViaSat, Inc., located at 6155 El Camino Real Carlsbad, CA 92009 for the procurement of the following parts produced by ViaSat: Part Number Description Quantity Units 017178-0001 RT-1828 Power Supply 2 Each 1005198 Splitter Combiner Drawer 1 Each 019207-0005 DC Injector Drawer (2-chanel system) 1 Each 019206-0000 Diplexer/LNA/Enclosure Subsystem 1 Each KA-013004-0000 UHF SATCOM VME Module 1 Each Interconnect Kit VCD-016090-0000 UHF SATCOM High Power 2 Each Amplifier (HPA) Shore 1010955 AC/DC Converter, 45 Watts 2 Each 1012558 AC Distribution Drawer, 3-phase 1 Each 1013514 AC Distribution Drawer, Single Phase 1 Each 1013329 Fiber Optic Transceiver/reciever, Local 1 Each 1013328 Fiber Optic transceiver/receiver, Remote 1 Each 1017450 Alarm Detector/FXS Phone Interface 1 Each Module 1017452 Alarm Detector/FXS Phone Interface 1 Each Module 1017451 Alarm Detector/FXS Phone Interface 1 Each Module 1017453 Alarm Detector/FXS Phone Interface Module 1 Each The intended use for this equipment is to serve as spare parts for ViaSat equipment previously purchased and currently deployed in the field. Spare parts inventory is required to maintain previously purchased and deployed ViaSat equipment to minimize interuptions of services provided by the deployed equipment. The equipment must be specific make and model to be compatible with the unique hardware and existing proprietary software features of existing equipment systems. The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract for a base year under the Commercial Item Procedures, FAR Part 13.5. The NAICS Code is 334220 and the applicable size standard is 750 employees. NO SOLICITATION WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Comments and/or responses shall be submitted in writing via e-mail to SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston, Code 025LP, Paula Laquaglia at paula.laquaglia@navy.mil or via facsimile at 843.218.5930. Any response to this announcement must be received no later than 1400 1 June 2007. All responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Numbered note twenty-two (22) applies.
