Description

THIS PROPOSED PROCUREMENT WILL BE AVAILABE FOR REVIEWING AND PRINTING IN APPROXIMATELY 3 DAYS. The project consists of but is not limited to the construction of placing a topsoil cover over the Smelter Flats and Lower Meadow Creek with, project submittals, seeding, mulch, and placing woody debris. This action is a Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) action and must meet all requirements of the 40 CFR 300 National Contingency Plan (NCP) and 29 CFR 1910.120. The Stibnite Mining Area can be reached by traveling east from McCall, Idaho, on Forest Highway 48 to the town of Yellow Pine, Idaho. The site is about 14 miles east of Yellow Pine, on Forest Road 50412, in Valley County. The removal site is defined as the site known as the Upper Meadow Creek. The site is on National Forest System Lands subject to private property interests through the 1872 Mining Law. The Stibnite Mine Site is located in T18N, R9E, Section 15. NAICS code: 237990. Size Standard: $31.0 Million. Estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Estimated start date is July 16, 2007 with 75 calendar days for completion. This proposed procurement is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside.
