- Description
- The Va Medical Center Birmingham, Alabama is seeking sources to provide critical care services, utilizing board certified or board eligible** anesthesiology-trained intensivists, including call, for all patients admitted to the (SICU) at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 700 South 19th Street Birmingham, Alabama 35233. Critical Care Services shall meet or exceed all current applicable standards of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organization. Normal working hours will be five (5) days per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, excluding National Holidays. Between the hours of 4:01 PM and 7:29 AM, services for the SICU shall be provided as needed. The contractor shall be responsible for protecting the personnel furnishing services under this contract. To carry our this responsibility, the contractor shall provide the following for these personnel: Worker's Compensation or other on-the-job injury program Professional Liability Insurance or Self Insurance Health Examinations Income Tax Withholding, and Social Security Payment
