- This notice is issued by NASA JSC WSTF and is a combined Request for Information (RFI) and Sources Sought. Respondents are requested to provide information on associated technologies that could make the procurement of a monomethyl hydrazine (MMH) distillation unit feasible and efficient while keeping all associated safety regulations in mind. NOTE: THIS FUEL IS CONSIDERED CORCONOGENIC, FLAMMABLE, TOXIC, AND VOLATILE. The objective of the MMH project is to acquire a processing unit capable of reducing the non-volatile residue (NVR) in monomethyl hydrazine (MMH) from approximately 30 mg/L to less than 1 mg/L. The processed fluid will be available for re-use and minimize the amount of hazardous material that requires disposal. To request a draft of the Statement of Work (SOW) please contact either Irene Garcia or Valerie Marburger at the email addresses listed below. Your comments relative to the SOW are encouraged. Please limit your response to 10 pages. Submittals should be mailed to: NASA, Johnson Space Center, Attn: Irene Garcia, Projects Procurement Office, Mail Code BH5, 12600 NASA Road, Las Cruces, NM 88012, or P.O. Box 20, Las Cruces, NM 88005. Electronic submittals may be emailed to irene.m.garcia-1@nasa.gov, but must be followed by a hard copy submittal that is to be provided to the address listed above. Any email submissions should include the following cc: address ? valerie.a.marburger-1@nasa.gov. No phone calls will be accepted. Responses are due June 21, 2007. As part of your submission please include a capability statement (no longer than 5 pages - this is not included as part of the page limitation above) and answers to the below questions. Capability statements must include the following information: ? Name and address of firm and size of business ? Average annual revenue for the past 3 years ? Number of employees ? Cage Code/DUNS ? Ownership ? Indicate company status as either Certified 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc. ? Number of years in business ? NAICS Code ? A list of at least 3 references where relevant work was performed (preferably with the Federal Government and within the last 3 years). The list should contain a point of contact, contract number, company name, phone number, email address and a brief description of the work performed. PLEASE ENSURE THAT REFERENCE INFORMATION IS UP TO DATE AND ACCURATE. Provide responses for the following: ? Is this service commercially available? ? Warranties available? ? Follow up technical support? ? Approved Accounting System per FAR 16.301? This presolicitation synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. Respondents will not be notified of the results. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B".
