- The solicitation for this project will be posted to FedBizOps on or about June 12, 2007 with bids due on July 2, 2007. The work to be performed consists of botanical surveys for Plant Species of Interest and Special Habitats on various areas of the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary personnel, facilities, equipment, materials, and transportation to perform the work described. The Contractor or Contractor Representative shall personally supervise all phases of the project including pre-field review, field surveys, and documentation. The areas to be surveyed range between 10 and 310 acres. The contract areas are located on the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest, Wallowa Mountains Ranger District and the La Grande Ranger District. These surveys are intended to gather botanical and habitat information to be used in planning timber management, prescribed fire, and range management projects.
