All removal work must comply with the conditions set forth in all environmental permits NOAA obtained for construction of the replacement pipeline. In addition all work must be done in compliance with all Federal, State, County laws and regulations. The contractor will ensure pipeline removal activities do not endanger the replacement seawater delivery systems, EPA pier, NOAA pier extension, NOAA net pen systems, DNR property, or any other Federal structures. The contractor must conduct work during normal business hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday) and provide restroom facilities for their employees. NOAA will make access to a 5/8 hose drinking water supply and one 120V electrical receptacle if need. 2) Option 1: The contactor will remove and dispose of 16 World War II era creosote pilings located in the inter-tidal zone. The removal of these pilings is a condition of the Hydraulic Project Approval permit from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. A firm fixed contract will be issued with a period of performance starting July 16, 2007. The pipeline removal and disposal needs to be completed 21 days there after. The option (if exercised) is to be completed by November 30, 2007. The contractor must be licensed and bonded in the state of Washington. This is not a request for proposals.
