Description
The purpose of AMENDMENT 0004 for W15QKN-07-R-0404 is to advise potential offerors that the Advanced Ballistic Calculator (ABC) will not be procured under FAR Part 12 procedures. Please reference Note 26. A FFP contract with four option periods is no longer contemplated. Instead, the contract type contemplated for this acquisition is a Hybrid of FFP (Firm Fixed Price) for the Basic Period and an IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity) Option with FFP (Firm Fixed Price) Delivery Orders. The Basic Period is to acquire FFP quantity of 15 each ABC. The solicitation will contain one (1) option and this option is to extend the period of performance up to 48 months after contract award. The option period, if exercised, has a total maximum quantity of 5200. The present schedule is to be modified due to further definement of requirement and release of a final Request for Proposal (RFP) will be made available as soon as possible. This will be issued under the W15QKN-07-R-0404 solicitation number. Telephone inquires will not be accepted.
