Description
A market survey is being conducted to determine if there are adequate SBA HUBZone Certified Small Businesses, SBA 8(a) certified, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) for this project. The project consists of work at two separ ate project sites including complete deisgn and construction of a total of 44,440 SF of four Company Operations Facilities (under one roof), 6,684 SF of covered hardstand, and 10,775 SY of Organizational Parking (hardstand) at one site and a 35,290 SF TEMF at a second site, complete with associated supporting utilities, storm drainage, communications, electric, HVAC, fire protection, paving, walks, curbs and gutters, access drives, exterior lighting, site improvements and landscaping. The Company Operation s Facilities are intended to be similar both functionally and technically to Office/Warehouse facilities in the private sector community surrounding the Installation. The TEMP facility is intended to be similar both functionally and technically to Heavy E quipment/Vehicle Maintenance Garage int eh private sector community surrounding the Installation. This project is to be build using the new MILCON Transformation Methodology. This project is plannedfor Advertising in June 2007, with an award scheduled fo r September 2007. Contract duration is 540 days. NAICS Code is 236220. The estimated cost range is between $10-$25 Million. All interested parties should notify this office in writing by mail or by email to debrauh.m.lardner@lrl02.usace.army.mil by 04 June 2007 at 4:00 PM Louisville Local Time. Your response should include the following: 1)Identify the appropriate business category (Certified HUBZone Small Business, 8(a) Small Business, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), 2) Pas t experience - Submit proof of projects that you have completed including the name of the project, the construction start and completion dates, the final dollar amount of the contract and a short description of your role and work performed, and a Point of Contact and phone number for the owner of the project. To be considered you must: a) have served as a prime contractor (add joint venture information if applicable), b) the work must have been successfully completed within the last five years, c) the proj ects must be similar in size, scope and dollar value to this project, d) percent of self-performed work and how it was accomplished, e) a letter from your bonding company stating you are bondable for this project. NOTE: If qualified SBA, HUBZone Certifie d, SBA 8(a) Certified, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business contractors do not respond, this planned action will be advertised as an unrestricted competitve procurement. NOTE: This is not a Solicitation Announcement or Request for Proposal, a nd it does not constitute any commitment by the Government. No award will result from this Market Survey. The purpose is to conduct market research to gain knowledge of potentially qualified sources. Responses to this sources sought notice may be used b y the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.
