- Description
- The Department of the Treasury's Departmental Offices intends to issue a DRAFT solicitation for industry comment. The DRAFT solicitation will be for Application Systems Support services on behalf of the Department of the Treasury's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The scope of these services will be to: a) ensure continued reliability and availability of existing application systems, b) deliver new application systems, and c) enhance existing systems within Departmental Offices and Treasury-wide. The DRAFT solicitation is a market research tool to solicit industry comments prior to issuing the final RFP. It is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The DRAFT solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps on or about May 31, 2007. A date for release of the final solicitation is not confirmed at this time, but an announcement is expected to be posted on FedBizOpps in the near future. In addition to posting the DRAFT solicitation on the FedBizOpps website, background documents and attachments will be available at the FedTeDS website at www.fedteds.gov. FedTeDS is an online dissemination solution designed to safeguard sensitive acquisition related information for use by all Federal Agencies and their approved business partners.
