Description: The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ 08733 intends to issue a modification to add one (1) additional VISUAL Landing Signal Officer (LSO), Part Number 427500-100, to the current contract N68335-04-C-0135 with L-3 Communications Display Systems. The Government intends to procure this item under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. L-3 Communications Display Systems as the sole developer of the VISUAL LSO is the only known source with the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary for provide the required hardware.
