- Description
- Four Terminal Capacitance Standard Set This request for information/sources sought announcement is issued to identify potential sources and gather information on current capabilities within the market. The Air Force Metrology and Calibration Program is considering a purchase of a Four Terminal Capacitance Standard Set. The Four Terminal Capacitance Standard Set will consist of six capacitors each of the following values: 1, 10, 100, and 1000 picofarads, and 0.01, 0.1, and 1 microfarads. The set will also contain three capacitors with the value of 10 microfarads. This adds up to a total of 45 capacitors. These capacitance standards will be used as calibration standards for LCR meters and impedance analyzers. These are four terminal pair capacitors with BNC type connectors. The capacitors will be designed to be mated directly with the Agilent 4284A Precision LCR Meter, without additional cables. The capacitors will have excellent stability with low dissipation factors. Reusable transport cases will be required for these capacitance standards. A calibration report and certificate will be provided showing calibrated values and traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), or other National Measurement Institute. The total estimated quantity is 1 Unit(s). Surplus or used material is not acceptable for this item.
