- Description
- Hook Cable Support applicable to the BAK-14?150? and the BAK-14?200?. This acquisition is for NSN: 1710-01-419-1561RN, PN: 52F2111-150 and NSN: 1710-01-421-0080RN, PN: 52F2111-200. The hook cable support is a part of the BAK-14 aircraft arresting system that is utilized for high-performance military aircraft and is retractable for use on civil runways. The hook cable support makes it possible to engage military aircraft when needed and completely retract below the runway during non-military runway operations. This requirement will consist of a basic quantity of 1 each and 2 option years with a quantity of 1-3 each per year for NSN: 1710-01-419-1561RN and a basic quantity of 1 each and 2 option years with a quantity of 1 each per year for NSN: 1710-01-421-0080RN. All assets will be shipped FOB Origin. The delivery schedule is 6 months ARO award. Multiple shipping locations are involved. The RFQ is being issued on a sole source basis to Engineered Arresting Systems Corporation (ESCO), Cage 21439, due to the lack of a technical data package. The RFQ is expected to be issued on or around 13 June, 2007. All responses will be due on or around 13 July, 2007. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFQ. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The RFQ will NOT be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov.
