- Sources are sought for a two to six year lease with option to purchase beginning on August 1, 2007 for one 2007 Pierce Fire Truck, Contendor Model or equal , with 360 Hp, 1050 Torque, Cummins engine; five man Cab seating capacity, with two facing fo rward and three facing back with EMS center compartment; hose bed capacity of 1500 ft of 2.5 and 400 ft of 1.5 hose; 1000 gallon water tank; and 1250 Gallon per minute pump. This fire truck apparatus is required to support the fire protection mission of the Fort Sam Houston Fire Department. Vendor must be able to respond to any maintenance request within two hours, regardless of time of notification, and put fire truck back into service within 24 hours.
