Description
The US Army Communications Electronics Lifecycle Management Command (C-E LCMC) Acquisition center on behalf of the LRC IEWS intends to acquire Optical Imagers 100 each SU-121/UA (NSN# 5855-01-082-3685) using Sealed Bid procedures. The requirement w ill be a Firm-Fixed price (FFP) type contract with two (2) separate one hundred percent options. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The small business size standard is 500 employees for the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Cod e 333314. These requirements shall be manufactured using top drawing numbers SM-D-657725 and associated drawings which will be provided by the Government. The Government anticipates award based on Sealed Bid with anticipated award date of around 1 August 2007. Th is is an invitation for bid (IFB) and the solicitation number will be W15P7T-07-B-W206. The solicitation will include configuration controls, updates to the drawings, and data items as required and will be posted on or about 12 June 2007 on the IBOP. T he contractor shall perform First Article Testing (FAT). FAT requirements may be waived for manufacturers who have produced or have been contracted to produce SU-121/UA within the last year. The delivery schedule for the SU-121/UA without first article t esting shall be 15 units, 180 days after contract award, 20 units 210 days after contract award with 20 each month thereafter until completion and with first article testing 10 units shall be due 300 days after contract award, 20 units due 330 days after c ontract award and 20 each month thereafter until contract completion. Shipments are to be FOB Destination with Inspection/Acceptance at Source. Packaging and packing shall be in accordance with standard practices for commercial packaging.
