- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 0010210538 is issued as a request for quote and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-15. It is anticipated that this award will be made on a sole source basis to Lion Apparel. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 315211. The following items are required: Fire Protective Garment One-piece turnout Constructed of 7.5 oz. Natural PBI*/Kevlar* outer shell and J7 Glide Pure Liner system. Raglan sleeves with radial underarm band enables natural unrestricted movement. Storm flap has hook/loop closure and zipper that runs from neck to crotch for fast donning/doffing. Radial banded crotch provides superior seam strength to protect against stress for longer wear life.
