Description

This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a Firm-Fixed Price contract for the procurement of Slider Beam Modification Kits applicable to the C-5 Aircraft. This will modify the C-5 Thrust Reverser Slider Beam on the TF39 engine to completely eliminate track jumping on the fleet. This requirement is for NSN: 1560-K1601733AUC; NOUN: Slider Beam Modification Kit; P/N: 4P7900159999. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 336413. Tentative Delivery Schedule for a quantity of 250 Each is as follows: Starting approximately August 2008, delivery will be for a quantity for 10 per month for six (6) months until (February 2009) and delivery quantity will increase to 20 Each starting March 2009 and 20 Each per month thereafter until delivery is completed. This is a Sole Source Acquisition to: Conquest Machine, Inc. (Cage Code: 0PNX2), 3655 Research Drive, Building A, Suite 106, Las Cruces, MN 88003-1239. The Government owns Data/Drawings, which will be provided in the Solicitation. The Solicitation will be issued approximately 14 June 2007 (which is approximately 15 days from the date of this synopsis) with an approximate response date of 14 July 2007. The Solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). See Numbered Note 27. No Telephone Request. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED.
