Description
Services consist of Operation and Management of Solid Waste Transfer Station, facility and associated equipment to include all maintenance, quality control, repair, security, housekeeping, grounds maintenance and snow removal. Management of organic w aste site, clean fill site and transportation of designated wastes to approved Solid Waste Management Facilities. Operation of the USMA Recycling Center, a co- located facility within the boundaries of the Transfer Station, is not included and this require ment has been deleted from the pending solicitation. The NAICS code is 562111 with a size standard of $11.5 Million for a small business. This will be an unrestricted solicitation with evaluation factors preference for SDB and Hub Zone price evaluation preference. A sub contracting plan to include small business participation will also be required if the awardee is not a small business. All responses shall include information as follows: Size, 8(a) status, Hub zone, Woman-Owned Small Business, S mall Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Veteran-Owned, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, etc. Responses shall further include the number of employees currently employed with the company, total revenue for the past three years; relevant past performance for the last three years and competent ability to accomplish the work described. All responses must be presented in sufficient detail to allow the government to determine the functional expertise and experience necessary to compete for the contract. All offerors must be registered in CCR www.ccr.gov and complete ORCA certification www.bpn.gov/orca. The solicitation issue is now expected to be issued on or about 15 JUNE 2007, and will remain open for 30 calendars days with a tentat ive closing date of 15 JULY 2007.The period of performance is a base plus 4 year period effective 1 October 2007.
