Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented wi th additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Request for Proposals (RFP) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16 dated 22 March 2007 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), 1998 edition, current to DCN 20070426. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Govern ment Visa Credit Card. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 443120 with a size standard of $8 million in sales. All prospective bidders must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Offerors may register onlin e at https://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html . The proposal shall provide bids on 2 complete systems that consist of a minimum of following: Dual XEON 5160 Dual-Core 3.00GHz 1333FSB, 320GB 7200 rpm Barracuda SATA 3Gb/s NCQ System Harddrive, 4 GB of RAM Memory (Minimum), Quadro FX 1500 256mb PCIe Professional Video Edition Display Card, Pioneer DVR-111DB CD/DVD Recorder +RW/-RW/+R/-R, Avid Liquid Pro 7, Windows XP Professional, (5) 750GB Barracuda 7200.10 SATA 3Gb/s Video Hard Drives, LaCie Bigg est S2s 2.5TB Storage Hard Drive, (3) 1394 Firewire ports, (8) USB 2.0 ports, HDV, Real-time DV-1394, composite and SVHS input and output, Adobe Illustrator CS3, Adobe Photoshop CS3, Sorenson Squeeze 4.5 Compression Suite, Light Wave 3D 9 w/PDF Manual, Bor is FX 9, Adobe After Effects CS3 Professional, Roxio DVDit Pro HD, Sound Forge 9, 2.1 InConcert Speaker System, and a Specialist Keyboard Liquid Edition. All proposals shall be clearly marked with RFP # W81R8T71210008 and emailed to to the point of contac t listed below or sent by facsimile to 928-328-6849 no later than 8:00 AM MST, June 7, 2007. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the proposal will be the most advantageous to the Government based on delivery and price. FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items ( Feb 2007) and specifically addendum 52 .247-34 FOB Destination (Nov 1991). FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statues or Executive Order Commercial Items (Mar 2007) apply to this acquisition.
