Description
The Department of the Interior, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) requires a Partner for habitat restoration and management projects in twenty-one states encompassed by the Service's Midwest Region (R3: Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio) and Northeast Region (R5: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, and Virginia). The partnership will be on a COST-SHARE basis. The Partner's share must reflect a meaningful percentage of project costs through actual expenditures or Service accepted labor, materials, and/or equipment. The magnitude of this requirement has an estimated price range of more than $10,000,000 for the total IDIQ contract including option years; each option year is estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The work involves preparation of construction specifications and related documents, completing the construction projects, and the associated construction management. Additionally, there will be acquisition related work of subcontract competition, award, management, and administration. Construction Projects: The work includes, but is not limited to, dike, levee, ditch, and water control structure construction and rehabilitation; wetland restoration such as reshaping contours, ditch plugs, and drainage tile breaks; and other ancillary projects such as construction and rehabilitation of fences and fish barriers. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will include evaluation criteria and past performance evaluation requirements. This will be a COST-SHARE IDIQ contract for a Base Year and four (4) Option Years.
