Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with FAR part 12. The National Park Service, Mount Rainier National Park, is soliciting quotes on a small business set-aside competitive basis from qualified organizations to enter into a firm fixed price contract for the purchase of Cedar Shakes and Shingles delivered to Longmire, WA 98397. Sussessful offeror will provide the following items on or about June 27, 2007. 1. 18 squares of = 24 inch - 3/4 inch heavy-raw #1 Cedar shakes (hand split) 2. 50 squares of = 24 inch #1 - 5/8 inch tapersawn - Class B fire rating treatment 3. 10 squares of = 16 inch #1 wood shingles - Class B fire rating treatment The National Park Service welcomes the participation of small, minority, and women owned enterprises. Solicitation number Q9455070054 will be available for downloading at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about May 30, 2007. Subscribers to this service are ultimately responsible for reviewing the above web site for all information relevant to this solicitation. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with DOI are requested to register at the Central Contractors Register (CCR) on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov.
