- It is the Governments intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for aviation systems engineering analysis support necessary for the requirements definition, product development and demonstration of an Ultra Wideband (UWB) enabled precision limited visibility landing system (LVLS) for aviation technology needs. The proposed period of performance is from 28 September 2007 through 28 September 2009. Authority Cited: Statutory Authority permitting other than Full and Open Competition for this require ment is 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), as implemented by paragraphs 6.302-1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) entitled- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
