- Solicitation Number, SPM4A6-07-R-0775, 0015423252, NSN: 6840-01-345-0237, Insect Repellent, Clothing Application. Unit box contains 12 kits and three marking pens. EPA registration/labeling required. Use of fluorinated 2F HDPE polymer plastic amber/brown/green/natural bottles with UV blocker are required. Bottle cap liner shall be either a metal-foiled or poly tri seal liner. Cap shall be screwed tightly on the bottle. No additional plastic seal required for the bottle cap. Silkscreen or label color shall be black IQW paragraph 3.1.3 of MIL Spec. Where camouflage green 483 is cited in the MIL SPEC the color shall approximate color No. 34094 of FED-STD-595B. MSDS and EPA label are required. This is a critical application item. This is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). QAP 010 applies. This is a commercial item being solicited in accordance with FAR Part 12. Direct access to defense and federal specifications, standards, and related standardization documents is available on the Internet via http://assist.daps.dla.mil/quicksearch/ or http://www.dodssp.daps.mil. This is solicited as a 100% Small Business Set Aside under the procedures of Full and Open Competition after Exclusion of Sources. This may result in a Firm Fixed Price contract for a quantity of 25,000 BX. DLA-Direct line only to Richmond, VA (SRG). FOB: Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. Quantity variance is + / - 10%. Progress payments shall not be included in the solicitation. A quantity option shall not be included in the solicitation. Required delivery is 38 days ARO. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued on June 18, 2007 with a closing date of July 18, 2007.
