Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development (RD) is seeking small businesses for a set-aside competition to fulfill the following requirements or RD will make a sole source award to Marshall & Swift/Boeckh, LLC, 915 Wilshire Blvd., STE 800, Los Angeles, CA 90017-3488, for ?Residential Cost Handbook Quarterly Updates? and ?Marshall & Swift Valuation Service and Quarterly Updates.? Marshall & Swift has been the sole providers of these updates?hardcopy and in electronic format?for the last 25 years. These products and services are used to complete approximately 70,000 rural residential appraisals at the 47 RD offices throughout the nation. The updates contain data that augment or modify the methods for estimating replacement cost, including data that is applied against different physical measurements of buildings and they allow program officials to estimate and verify construction costs on new properties throughout the United States. The expected period of performance is base plus four (4) option years. The NAICS code is 511210. The size standard for this NAICS code is $23M. The USDA anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract. This requirement will be procured using procedures in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 12, Commercial Contracting. A SOLICITATION IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. Small businesses that believe they can meet these requirements should provide technical information that will enable the Contracting Officer to determine if a set-aside action is appropriate.
