Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Cincinnati VA Medical Center, 3200 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45220 intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Philips Medical Systems for the purchase of a PACU Patient Monitoring System. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NAICS Code 334510. Philips Medical Systems is classified as a large business concern and is the sole distributor for this equipment. This is to upgrade existing equipment and new equipment must be compatible with existing equipment. The solicitation will be posted and available for download from http://fedbizopps.gov/. Offers will be due in the issuing office on or before 2:00p.m Eastern Time on June 11, 2007. Any amendments issued will be posted on http://fedbizopps.gov/. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered by the agency. As of October 1, 2003, all firms are required to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database www.ccr.gov before an award can be made to that firm. This procurement is unrestricted.
