- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. You may also access information on the NSWC Crane Division web site at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm The Navy has a requirement for an RPA2000 Rubber Process Analyzer. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole-source basis with Alpha Technologies, 2689 Wingate Avenue, Akron, Ohio 44314-1392, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. The acquisition will be conducted with Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items in accordance with FAR 13.5. It is anticipated that this action will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. The solicitation is expected to be posted on or about 7 June 2007 on the NSWC Crane website at www.crane.navy.mil/supply/homepage.htm; no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed.
