Description
U. S. GOVERNMENT IS INTERESTED IN LEASING SPACE IN Denton, Lewisville, Corinth, Frisco, The Colony, or Flower Mound, TX PROJECT #4TX0236 REQUIREMENT: General Services Administration is interested in leasing class ?A or B? office space consisting of approximately 14,502 rentable square feet of space. The space must yield 11,464 to 13,872 BOMA usable square feet of office space available for personnel, furnishings, and equipment. The space will be occupied by Department of Homeland Security ? Office of Inspector General. LEASE TERM: 15 years, 10 years firm UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS: Office and related space is required to be contiguous, and on one level without being split by a public corridor. Fenced and covered parking for 16 official vehicles and additional parking for approximately 20 vehicles shall be available within one block. Description of Tenant: The tenant will be the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) ? Office of Inspector General (OIG). Some of the employees of the investigative branch of the OIG are special agents of the US Government and have the right to carry weapons on the premises. There will be no detention facility on site, however, detainees may be brought in the office for questioning on rare occasions. DHS OIG is charged with the investigation and prosecution of fraud against the Department of Homeland security. These types of crimes are normally considered white collar and non-violent. LOCATION: Offered properties must be located within: The city limits of Denton, Lewisville, Corinth, Frisco, The Colony or Flower Mound, Texas Expressions of interest should include the following: 1) Building name and address; 2) Rentable square feet and rate per rentable square foot; 4) Name, address, and telephone number of individual to be contacted; 5) Common Area Factor(s) (CAF) for available space; 6) Brief description of owner?s understanding of use. AUTHORIZED CONTACTS: In no event shall the offeror enter into negotiations concerning the space to be leased with representatives of Federal Agencies other than the officers and employees of General Services Administration.
