Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region has a requirement for trash collection and disposal services for the Treasure Lake Job Corps in Indiahoma Oklahoma. This requirement for commercial items is being procured in accordance with Subpart 13.5, "Test Program for Certain Commercial Items" and Parts 12, 13, 15 and 19 (small business competitive demonstration program) of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Proposal, and this solicitation is full and open competition. The trash collection and disposal services contract shall consist of providing trash receptacles as well as trash collection and disposal services for the Treasure Lake Job Corps in Indiahoma Oklahoma (TLJC). The Trash collection and disposal Services will consist of Provide fourteen (14) metal, watertight refuse containers, on casters, and with lid covers. One container shall be approximately two (2) cubic- yard capacity, and thirteen (13) containers shall be approximately three (3) cubic-yard capacity. The Contractor is to also maintain the containers and steam clean them; all steam cleaning shall be done at the Contractor's facility, as necessary, in order to keep them clean and sanitary in accordance with Federal, State, County, and local health standards. The contractor is to provide quality services as well as provide good customer satisfaction. The contract will be a Fixed Price contract for a Base Year and 4 one-year options, and may be extended up to six months past the completion date (in accordance with FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. The approximate date of solicitation issuance is June 4, 2007. The work will be performed under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 562111. Department of the Interior has directed the use of Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as the single validated source on vendors doing business with the Government. Prospective vendors are encouraged to register in CCR prior to the award of a contract.
